Hey Stephanie --

I was thinking I should add something to the DVD case to avoid this happening again when I saw your post, liked your wording and decided to use it verbatim for the next pressing -- so thank you!

Hey Steph - it's great to have you here and sorry for the "downstairs" shop talk but that is a great spot for sharing and learning. That area is not Google searchable, hence it is a safer spot to discuss deeper ideas.

Good luck and have fun with Chris's genius product. You are more than welcome to copy or enhance my routine - or improve it, or ignore it.

Great to see this on AGT tonight! Great presentation with lots of laughs and a real stunner of a magic effect. You can't ask for much more especially in the context of this show.

Hey guys --

David and Leeman (terrific magicians I've written about in Magic magazine) perform Speechless tonight on America's Got Talent -- they do a fantastic job with a very funny and original presentation. Check it out! I was on hand for the taping so am available if you have questions (though maybe that will move downstairs).

They really did great - the customized it for Howie Mandel. Really great job.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Chris, I was wondering how it might be possible for you to customize for me several words in your special format and what that might cost? I own the product btw.

This effect was just on America's Got Talent!

And, it wasn't Chris performing it!

It was awesome, but I was very disappointed it wasn't Chris performing it. I would think (hope) they got his permission to do this, but I still think it would have been much better for Chris to perform this.

I think the way they performed it with Howie Mandell as the participant was clever, but it could have been better and more entertaining. I would have inspected his head to find the two perfect points and then have him place his two pointer fingers on top of his head as he tried to read the cards. Or, have him put one finger on his head and the other in his ear or something. I think it would have been more amusing to see Howie holding his fingers on his head like a ballerina.

I would love to hear Chris comment on the show.

Hi Chris:

That was a terrific performance of speechless. I especially enjoyed the premise of using the pressure points on Howie.

Congrats

They pretty much did do the standard Speechless presentation, albeit with the pressure point idea.

Howie I hear is also a germaphobe - hence the gloves I suspect.

Hey KJ -- thanks for saying you wished it was me up there, but I'm totally happy being behind the scenes (as a writer and director this is where I'm most comfortable). I think D&L's presentation was terrific -- funny, fresh and fast (they're supposed to stay to 90 seconds but with a the judge's byplay it went long). It's not that obvious from the edit, but they did get a standing ovation.

Hey MagicBrent, I do make custom cards from time to time -- pm me for a price.
