Roy Kueppers has two flipper types he sells, a regular and a 'pro'. Difference in price is roughly double for the pro version. Having not ever owned a flipper, I'm having trouble understanding how these differ - is it more than just a better look or fit with the pro ?? Which do you think is the better purchase, bearing in mind I am not a pro- I do this for F&F... so far.

Thanks for reading.

I would suggest you contact Roy for details. His customers service is very good.

A pro flipper is simply a flipper with a re-milled "insert" so that the band is running along a inner groove instead of the outside edge (like a coin bite). I have both a Pro flipper and regular flipper from Roy. Personally I don't think there is that big of a difference, the spectators will not notice the difference.
