Anyone out there have these books?
They look like a set that I would enjoy buying, but was wondering what ya'll thought of it. Doc Eason recommends them, so they must be good. Thanks for your reviews! |

Dear Darren,
I have most of the "Bar & Grills" and think that they are great. I also like his other pamplets..."One for the money" and "Two for the show". I know somewhere on this forum one of these pamplets was really trashed...badly! I can see how some of this stuff wouldn't "read" very well...but in "real life" it kills...I know...I actually use it! Heck even Copperfield used some of them! I know Bill is a "worker" so his material is tried and true. I think anyone performing for real paying audiences will definitely get something of value from Bill's material. I hope this helps, Cody S. Fisher

Cody -- They trashed his "Bits & Pieces" not either of these, they are both really good!
Darren -- They are very good and there is usable material in them, but realize that they are not books -- more like newsletters with maybe 2-4 items in each along with other articles, etc... Sixx |

Dear Robert,
Thanks for clearing it up for me...I hate to give out wrong information. Yes it was the "bits and pieces" that was trashed. I personally liked it...I thought it was filled with some very usuable "bits of business" and "funny gags". I purchased this after seeing a lot of them performed at his lecture...I can see how one would be dissappointed having not seen them in action. Most of them were real funny and I have personally added two of them to my stand up act. Anyway, thanks for your addition Robert...much appreciated. Cody S. Fisher

I liked one for the money A LOT....it is a fantastic effect. two for the show was ok, but not as good as the former. I havent gotten around to purchasing his bar and grill series...yet.

I've got two of his bar and grill newsletters and really like them. He came to Houston for a lecture and was awesome. I plan on getting the rest of the bar and grills.

Thanks for your help.
I like the fact that there are other articles mixed in with the effects. That's a plus for me. I will be putting in an order for #1 and #8! |
