Beginners Question- I am really having problems making the dog correctly in a consistant manner. I make what I believe is a pretty good one and then the next three all have a foot long tail or more. Being that this appears to be the second easiest balloon to twist after the sword I am getting a little discouraged. What am I missing? Any tips or advice? Thanks for your time.

Use your hand or fingers to measure.Blow up with the same amount of air. Use your prefered unit to make the nose. Ears and feet about 2 fingers. Choose what you like for neck and body, but if yuo stick with your hand/finger measurements they should become more consistant until it becomes automatic. Leaving
an uniflated tail allows you to make a pop tail/ball, kids love it. A good line of patter can make what you see as mistakes into an opportunity for laughs. Remember the classic line; I can make any animal in the world as long as it looks like a dog. Keep at it! |

What Plink said is spot on.
If I could add anything it would be to not blow the balloon up too much. When it comes to doggies smaller is cuter.
If you need fear to enforce your beliefs, then your beliefs are worthless.
