I liked the routine, but it seems to me that the subtext is that the son is screwing things up. You might try a subtext where the magic is happening unexpectedly, or even a rivalry, where the two of you disagree on what trick to do --you count three and the son counts four.
Still, great trick, great ending. Like the miser's dream, coming up with a satisfying ending is difficult. |

Actually, I think the subtext is that Bill is not screwing up, but in fact is the real magician .
Check out some of their other videos on YouTube (esp. their Linking Rings routine) and I think you'll see that Raven tends to set it up so that Bill is the real magician. Bill is clearly having a ball! Nicely done Raven. |
