Hello! I am wondering if there is any Chinese native speaker here at this forum. I would like to know some expressions in Chinese language.
1. What are the Chinese Linking Rings called in Chinese? 2. Are there Chinese magic words or formulas like "Abracadabra" or "Simsalabim"? 3. Are there typical expressions or words Chinese conjurors commonly use? Any help is welcome. Thank you in advance! |

This is my understanding: and like any english to other languages, there are many no direct literal translations for similar words.
1) no, just use description of the rings - steel sliver rings, 2) no, just use the english originated words - most would be universal, right? 3) ?, Ask Lu Chen. 4) and as usual, if you cannot properly pronounce words with like a native, hard pass. my opinion. Qualifier: American born Chinese, fluent in Cantonese - both dialects, no Mandarin. Yes, been to China, lived in my parents village for 3 weeks. |
