Hi friends,
Besides magic, I also speak at business events. I will be speaking at a business event that has nothing to do with "magic" at all. At random times throughout my talk, I'd like to produce a $100 bill at my fingertips on demand. I'm looking for a method or device that will allow me to do this cleanly, without any typical routining. I want to be able to just reach up and pull a $100 out of thin air. Should be able to do this at least at 4 different times during the presentation. I can think of several ways to accomplish this, but I'd love your feedback regarding any tricks on the market that may accomplish this. Thanks!

If you can find Osaka bills this would be a way to go, as it is done one handed and in either hand.
Wearing a jacket gives you all kind of load areas. The nice thing is it is easily repeatable as you move about the stage. John

Thank you guys, the first thing that came to mind for me too was Pablo's bare hand production... and I do own it. Not quite what I'm after though. Prefer one hand reaching out and a $100 materializes. Osaka bills don't work for the same reason. Keep the ideas coming please

GeneTony,
I think I understand what you are saying, Please watch this clip of Cyril doing Osaka Bills. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzgPro39UwE When I did Osaka Bills it was bare handed production from no where. Not the full routine as Jahn Gallo did producing additional bills from behind the bill(s) he was holding. John

GeneTony,
Osaka bills don't necessarily have to be done as a continuous production. You can retrieve and ditch the stack as needed. |

But the stack does not allow me to show an empty hand and produce one single $100 Bill.

Hey Gene,
Somewhere on here there is a link to a youtube clip of a guy waking up to homeless people and doing a one-handed bill production. I know it's not Stuart Edge, he does a lot of that sort of thing, but I can't seem to find the link now. Maybe someone will read this and remember where it is in the forums or on youtube. It was mentioned that it looked like Pablo's Barehand Production but it was much cleaner and more fluid with no indication of a TT anywhere. It sounds like it might be what you're looking for.... if you can figure out who it is and if it's a marketed effect. |

I think this is the thread you are looking for:

Gene, you do not have to use the stack of Osaka Bills to produce a single bill. The original idea came to Jahn Gallo while in Japan after seeing how some customers would flash produce a single bill to pay for the check. From this move he developed the bunch production of bills and then how to stack the bill to have a continual production.
Your needs seem to be a palm and produce, from what you are describing, and lead me to believe staging the bills (say 4) folded in the Osaka method, on your jacket in the most easily accessed place. When needed, use either hand to get the bill and produce it when you need it. Regardless of the method of production, the bill will have to be concealed somewhere until needed, moved to the hand and produced. The Osaka method of folding the bill allows it to fit in, and be concealed by, the hand, as well as being simple to secret on your person. I start with Misers Dream into Osaka Bills, and finish with spring bills. Hope you find what you need. Pete

Thank you very much Pete. I do understand the working of the Osaka bills, and know a single bill could be accessed and palmed. I'd really like my hand to be clearly empty immediately before producing the bill though. I think I've devised a way to do this. I'll work on it this week and do some testing, then post the results here.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the venerable Money Maker Machine. It clearly would be a way to produce a good number of bills - and with a switch-out for another “loaded” machine you could produce even more. If you are deciding to use multiple methods, this might be one of them.

Hi Rhett, Are you referring to the mechanical roller type of machine? If so, I'm not sure how this relates to a bare-handed production of a bill. I think I may be missing something here.
