I would like to know, how you arrange your script when it changes from linear to multi-linear, e.g. in the case of magicians choice.
Further more, how do you rehearse or learn multi-linear scripts, so that they stick in your mind and you can recall the right thread at the right time? I struggle to find a satisfying solution for both of my questions and would love to read your thougths on this. hans |

This may sound sort of dismissive, but it is not meant to be. It you want to get natural at this, pick a person who is going to be your practice partner and go through every possible iteration of the selection process a hundred times or as many as your partner will stand for. If you are buying him or her a couple of beers as thanks, I suspect you will get some cooperation. Yes, there is exposure to another person, but practice is the only way to get better.

Thank you Patrick for your answere. For sure this is one good way to do it!
Finaly I found a solution that works for me and I like to share it here. Without the risk of exposure or anoying your frinds, you can do this: Record yourself via webcam choosing every single important possible outcome. That does not meen every possible outcome, but these wich are essential. For example, to force one out of four, I recorded nine essential outcomes. Now just drop them on shuffle into your mediaplayer and there you go. You have plenty of time to rehearse you pattern as you can press pause whenever you want. For me, this is a good way to practise magicans choice til it is fluent and smooth and I do not have to think about it. -Hans |

At each point where the choices branch, flip a coin to determine which branch to take.
