I loved this, since it can be done impromptu and I have been doing OOTW and Lorayne's OOTUniverse since I was about 24 (over 46 years)!
I hope you will make an open announcement here for purchase as soon as the book is ready....Must have! Thanks for sharing the video.
"Pay no attention to that strange man behind the curtain" (it's only "Doc Benjamin from the Amazing Wizardelia Wagon")

I saw this many times whilst spending some great times with Michael and Rasp in Cologne and can honestly say that it got great reactions every time and moreover was one of the more 'requested' pieces I came across over the whole weekend.
The fact that it plays slightly longer was completely congruous with the storyline and excellent routining. it was incredibly engaging in the real world....then again.....Michael's personality helps that! This carries with it a caveat that I was drinking for much of the weekend (but not as much as Michael!!) |

Colin it was you who was the bad influence on me ha ha
Looking forward to seeing you again at the day convention (only two weeks to go). :)

I totally know I'm dredging up an old topic but I am eagerly awaiting my copy of A Piece of My Mind (it's out for delivery this very second!) and I've been reading through some of these posts.
I loved the video, thanks Rasp and Michael for sharing. I like this effect. There was another thread hashing through whether this will play better or worse for laymen versus magicians, etc. but I think that is missing the point (personal opinion). I love the thinking and the approach, whether or not I use this effect sort of how it is written or try to find something totally different. That's what I consider value. I haven't gotten this excited in a while (well, there was a DVD set that came out in December that I had looked forward to but I ended up being less than impressed with it). How are you guys incorporating this principle and/or liking it? No specifics since I realized this was in Penny. Best, Lem |

I sincerely hope that you enjoy the book when it arrives. I'm so pleased with the response to it so far and especially so at getting awarded book of the year on the Café competition it's really made my year so far and paid for a few bottles of whisky too
For anyone who has this already as either the download or as part of the book I have done a quick video explanation to accompany this as a way of testing my new cameras. If you provide proof of ownership I'm happy to give you access to this video. Best Wishes Michael

Really don't see that as an improvement over the classic routines which have a much cleaner, less "suspicious" final display. It's somewhat nice that the deck is shuffled but you can of course have the deck shuffled with many versions of OOTW.

Some will love it, others will hate it, and that can only be a good thing.
Perhaps I should change its name to Marmite ha ha Love to all Michael
