There was an illustrated packet tick by Pavel named "Sad or Laughing Rabitts". The effect was quick and goes well with children.
Does any body still perform it... Appears to be forgotten packet trick... Swamy |

The effect goes like this :
Display four cards with rabbits having sad faces. By replacing one of the rabbits(sad) with a laughing rabbit, the remaining three rabbits also display their laughing faces... This effect should be arround 40 years old.. |

Hello Swamy. This indeed is an old packet trick. I have the cards and instructions in the original envelope bought from Tannens in New York city a long time ago. 1970's I guess. It is call "The Laughing Rabits" (that's what is printed on the instructions, spelled just that way. You got six cards, 3 1/16 inches by 4 1/4 inches, white on the back and on the front different pictures of rabbits with two faces or one face and a leg. Never used it, guess that's why it is still in the original envelope. Don't remember what I paid for it, but probably wasn't much. Hope some of this helps. Matthew

This is why the Magic Café is so important. Swamy and I have sent each other emails based on this topic. I sent him the original instructions and he sent me the original advertisement. Seems like I paid $3 for the effect all those years ago. javascript:emoticon(':dancing:')
