This is a new t&r just put out by the blue crown. It looks pretty cool but I'm not sure if the visual moment makes up for the awkward tearing process. I also can't help but compare this to regeneration which, to me, seems like the holy grail of torn and restored corner affects. It also seems like the card can't be signed which seems like a must have aspect for a good t&r
http://thebluecrown.com/magic-tricks/skyline.html One of the most VISUAL torn & restored effects we've ever seen! Your spectator selects a card. You tear off the corner, show both sides of the remaining card, and then in the blink of an eye the card is magically restored! Created by Danny Weiser, this is an incredibly easy and in-their-face effect that can be performed it a number of different ways. Danny teaches how to use the included handmade gimmick and then dives into multiple presentations - including one that leaves them with an impossible video on their own cell phone! This effect is perfect for almost any environment from close-up to stage, and is great for all skill levels because it's practically self-working! -Includes Handmade Bicycle Gimmick -Easy-to-do -Ultra Visual -Multiple Routines & Ideas -Bonus Corner to Impossible Location Effect

I just saw it passing by. It looks awesome on the video.
I have a question though, is the gimmick durable? Will it break after a few usages? |

Hey Dampee,
I have been using the same gimmick over and over without repair for 3+ years...There is just one minor thing that you really would need to change once in a while after major usage but it is the easiest component of the gimmick to change. Without giving away too much of the gimmick, I hope that helped. -Danny Weiser |

Would it be possible to see a full live performance?

My video review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oa93VFNkYn8 With SKYLINE your spectator selects a card. You tear off the corner, show both sides of the remaining card, and then in the blink of an eye the card is magically restored! Key Points: Super easy-to-do, hyper visual and comes with multiple routine ideas My Thoughts: Skyline makes impossible magic easy. This is the perfect effect for the beginner magician who wants to look bad *** right away! 7/10 |

Bought it but quickly sold it, not my cup of tea.
When compared to something like Torched and Restored any advantages that Skyline may have disappear as the impact is so much less. |

Shame on you, Blue Crown. Terrible, terrible. Cannot believe that this company put their name to this piece of total garbage.

It looks cool. I'm sure it'll freak out laymen. I've seen some other TNR effects that look better.
