I thought maybe some of you fellow pyros might find this little item useful:
http://youtu.be/1Zid4PB5Vho You'll notice that the cover is closed during and after the ignition. I've seen several videos on Youtube that offer terribly clumsy or dangerous ways to do this, so thought you might find this worth your while. Mike. |

Thank you for the answers, gents, but I've received a great deal of comments on doing this over the years. You both may have been doing this for decades, but that doesn't change the fact that it's rare to see anyone doing a one handed match light. Also, based on all of the videos that I've found online, there are a lot of people doing it very, very poorly or, worse, in a dangerous manner.
Anyway, I just posted it for S&G. Sorry that it's so terribly useless to so many. Mike. |
