Hello. I purchased a great trick from Wayne Houchin recently called Houdinis Influence. It's a prediction effect involving Polaroid pics of cards that allegedly belonged to HH. Briefly, a 'card' is selected from a face down ribbon(previously shown face up and different), and is shown to match a prediction that was out from the beginning.
Problem is, the Polaroid cards need to be displayed very carefully when shown to be different(Mo@&e Cr@&to deck principle), and that is hard to do without it seeming like your being too careful. So.... I'm wondering if a judiciously applied roughing stick could be used to allow the pictures to spread nicely, but 'stop' before exposing the gaff. Does this make sense? Would Harry Robson's roughing stick work well for this? Thanks in advance. |

Seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth and might ruin the pictures?
The spread looks fairly casual in this performance.... Maybe all that's needed is more practice? http://vimeo.com/m/43438217 |
