I am preparing for a show this Tuesday that will require black colored flash paper. I just realized I do not have any, so I've placed an order. As you probably know, flash paper can be shipped by truck only, so I do not know if I will receive this by Tuesday. I am considering taking some white flash paper and seeing if I can color it black.

Does anyone know if this can be done, and if so, how?

Black magic marker will work. I've used it for flash paper and flash string and when you light it, it works as normal. I'd stay away from spray paint, although I've never used spray paint, I would think it wouldn't light as normal, but I could be wrong.
