Last night at a lecture by Jason Alexander (the actor that played George Castanza), I ran into Ran Pink and he showed me a bunch of effects using his newest product. It's called P'ink.

It was really cool! I asked if he had any with him I could buy, but he told me that it's not available yet. Smile

I found the link for a video demo of it here: http://www.worldwidemagic.com/

I'm excited about this because everything he did with it looked like visual F/X from a movie, but happened live, in front of my face. How it looks in the demo video is exactly how it looked in real life. Drawn images and words appeared to morph, or in some cases form out of a blank piece of paper.

I almost wish I hadn't seen it before it was available because it's kind of driving me crazy not getting to play with it yet.

Did this take place in Hollywood, by any chance?

I have this. All I will say is that some of my ideas will be included but most importantly, I know Ran is trying to make this as cheap as possible and this is DEFINITELY worth your time. The possibilities truly are limitless.

Ran's brain always seems to work out there around Alpha Centauri or thereabouts. To say that this looks visible and fun is belaboring the obvious. Keep us posted on when it will be available. Looks to be gangbuster sales and very popular. It also looks like there'll be countless ways to get creative with it.

Hi Mike,

Not far from Hollywood, but it was in the valley, not in Hollywood.

Ran was nice enough to show me the video recently and all I could say was "holy c**p" does that look amazing!

It appears to be along similar lines perhaps as CUT but perhaps not being temp dependent.

I'm stoked.

If this is like his cut liquid, then it won't work outdoors in some hot/humid environments.

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the ink is permanent once it has morphed from one image to the second? That is, can it be handed out as a souvenir?

Ran is teasing us a little on this - I'm gussing the formula is quite different then CUT with different properties.

Where the man finds the time to do this complex stuff along with his musical career - lord only knows.
