I was wondering if anyone could give me their opinion on the effectiveness of the Three Card Monte, Fast and Loose, and the Shell Game, in a walk-around setting, and what the most effective form in which to perform it, and if there can be any general tips given on performing these for laypeople professionally (I am considering to add them into my act).

All three of these type routines need to be performed on a surface, so for walk-around settings you would have a problem with this.

There are some in-the-air Fast and Loose routines out there, a couple of which are pretty good.

In my experience, Fast and Loose requires too much time and too much explanation for walk around.
Shell Game is already understood by most, and moves very quickly, and can be done on the coffee table, bar or rug. |

I use TCM as an icebreaker when table hopping. "I am here to conduct an eye test. Just follow the lady."

Table hopping fast and loose. "Easy game to win 50/50 chance. 1 side wins 1 side looses. If you win I give you a soda if you lose you do a chore for your parent (spouse) win win situation. Downside everyone thinks they can win so usualy good for a closer. because everyone wants to play.
