Just purchased this and after reading the instructions, definitely think it's very clever. Looking forward to trying it out.

Derek - Yes, there are a few input methods provided, including one (which I will probably use a lot) where nothing needs to be said, and you can definitely frame your presentation so that you say, "I don't want you to think this is voice recognition or anything like that"

Those asking for a demo, I'm here to tell you what is described is EXACTLY what happens. It's genius.

I think if your phone is out of sight the default input method might be even more fooling.

I think we are going to turn a tide at some point where all these apps based on typing things down (only to be shown later as the correct prediction) are going to become suspect. I always try to avoid a spectator seeing what I'm typing. The technology gap isn't as wide as people seem to think.

I don't believe a word you say personally, but judging by other comments, looks like I'll be getting this. BTW do your homework, it's 19 not 11 Quid.

a) tautology
b) why do you think I would care?

Do *your homework*, the app store charges 30%, I guessed but was slightly out. 13 quid, not 11.

Thanks for playing, pick up your goody bag on the way out.

Is the spectators phone in play only. Or do you have to have yours in play too??

PM if preferred.

Hi - no, you can perform the effect without the spectator seeing your phone at all.

Is that by way of utilizing a confederate, though? I don't mind that conceit at all, but I'm not a fan of ads that state your phone needn't be in play, only to discover that it's only when utilizing a confederate. Obviously, the information must be input somehow, so I suspect this is the case, and that's just fine.
It's all in the reflexes.

I'm happy to be as transparent as I can without too much exposure.

This effect currently has several input methods including:
One that uses a confederate (and hence your phone is not in sight).
One that has your phone in play in a justified manner.
One that uses no confederate and doesn't have your phone in play.

Let me know if you'd like more details that I can maybe help with.

There are input methods that do not use a confederate where your phone is not seen by the spectator. its very clever.

Believe me Mark (and Myke IMO) have put more thought than ANYONE into creative deceptive, efficient, frankly groundbreaking input methods. The sheer ingenuity is something I think is worth supporting.

I hope people start to see these apps as tools and stop doing them "out of the box" and come up with their own ideas and presentations.
YouTube can do a lot more than reveal music. Imagine them turning over their phone and seeing Michael Jordan dunking or babe Ruth hitting a home run.
There's so much potential here.

Thanks, Marc (and everyone else who chimed in). I'm a big fan of Magic WebFX.

It's 24,99 EUR in the German App Store ... Is this the launch sale price?

Amrit - perhaps eventually, but not currently. It's expensive in terms of time and money for me to have an Android app ready on launch, sorry about that.
MRAC - yes, it's on sale for launch worldwide.

I imagine this is very similar in method to 'City Prediction'
