I performed Marc's "4 Envelope Test" routine last night with some slight variations... There were a few snags but overall it went over great! It's truly a masterpiece of mentalism and very challenging. I had scramble a few times when I could properly "see things" but no big deal. I will mention that the truly sneaky part of the routine - the principle Marc credited to Basil Horwitz, has a ton of applications. Just taking that one simple principle you could create a dozen more routines.

I'll be seeing him lecture at 2Minds in Newcastle in just over a week. He's part of a great line up over 2 days.

Good for you. He's really an exceptional mentalist and teacher. Seems a really nice guy too.

Anyone know where to find the credited principle of Basil Horowitz?

Think I found the credit: it's in the Mental Magick of Basil Horowitz volume 2. The effect is called 'Challenge Thought - Version 2'

I got to see Marc do it live at 2MINDS. I was familiar with his Double Blind DD used as a basis for the 4 envelopes, but the extra touches were fantastic. Marc kept it moving all the way through and it just kept building. Awesome stuff.

In the lecture he mentions that Drew M has a program that can reproduce sales receipts for the number effect. Does anyone know if this is available?

I would guess that Drew simply uses Microsoft Word or its equivalent for creating cash register (till) receipt lookalikes. This is certainly what I have done.
