Hey Pete, we are all anticipating it and are impatient, but DON'T forget that quality is job number one! keep the quality high even despite the pressure to rush from this Café, and everybody will be happy in the end. Everything will be just copacetic;"peachy"!

Hi all,

I own E1, and I thought I'd chime in. I think the idea is great, but I have never performed the effect because of balance issues. I simply can't balance with the gaff. I hear E2 is going to be eaiser to balance on. Is this true?

Also, my motivation for practicing such a difficult illusion hasn't been all that high, because I don't think the height of the levitation is all that great. If the performer could go a little higher, the illusion would be greatly enhanced.

So my question for Peter is, will E2 allow the performer to rise any higher than E1?

I have to chime in here too, and say that I also wish the height was a little more. maybe an inch or an inch and a half more would be really cool.

I emailed Peter about the release date. I don't think he'll mind if I post what he said:

(Friday, Dec 3)

"Jeremy, It will be released in the first week or second week of January. They are in producion as we speak. Pre-orders will start in the next couple of weeks. Check our website later for those updates including a video.

Thanks for your interest,

Peter."

BTW, I am an original Elevator owner and absolutely love it! I've performed this trick dozens of times for friends and coworkers. Everyone thinks it's amazing.. some even think I'm possessed! HAHAHA

Jeremy,

About that possesed statement. people think the same of me when I use the elevator. I don't know what gives it away, but I think it has something to do with the revolving head and pea soup projectile vom****ing that's blowing my cover.

It seems to me that the question was "Can they look under your feet" regarding the E1. This was never claimed (as far as I know). It is the E2 that spectators can look under your feet. Perhaps Im reading Muzicman's post incorrectly but I beleive he is simply mixing up the two tricks. If this is the case, he should probably read about the products a little bit more before posting such harsh comments. If he WAS talking about the E2, then he has no room for commenting because E2 has not even been released. He has no way to tell whether or not it is false advertising.

Ehhh?
Well, if you're asking which types of shoes you can use, you can levitate barefooted, or you could use something like:
Cowboy boots, sneakers, leather shoes, moon boots, army boots, pumps, loafers, sandals, platforms or slippers.. Smile

Well any shoe will be fine, however barefoot is possible like with the old one, but considering the device, it could be rather painful and uncomfortable to do it barefoot, but posssible.

I bought my Elevator months ago but how can I prove that I have the original unit so that I am eligible for the first run of Elevator 2?

You should have a registration number that you used to register your E1

No it's not its not sharp or dangerous in any way, its kinda hard to explain without revealing the gimmick. It can be done barefoot it just might be uncomfortable to do so, considering how the gimmick is designed.
