The leather exterior of my medium sized Ton Onosaka purse is pretty beat up and "cracking." Could anyone tell me a good, safe treatment for leather that they recommend? There are a lot of products out there, but maybe someone here has experience with this.
Same question for doctor's bags with weathering leather. Thanks in advance! |

Thanks, Frank! Which source do you recommend (it's quite pricey on Amazon)? And do you recommend going with clear or black?

I recommend clear like the photo above. Check shoe repair, leather shops, western wear stores, etc.
It's not cheap, I guess, but it does last a long time.

Thanks, Frank! In your experience, has it also helped soften old, dried leather?

Yes, it does. You can see if there's a Tandy's leather shop near you, or check a hardware store for leather conditioner.

Thanks, looks like there's one in North Hollywood. They don't have Chelsea's brand but have several others.
