Crumbs, magic really is on it's arse. Insight? I could do that exact same effect (from a participants view) probably better to be honest, for the price of a deck of Waddingtons, £1.30 round my way. Seriously, do you honestly think it makes £400 worth of difference to the spec? I'm starting to think people would buy a £600 ball and tube if it had a battery and saved them an hours practice.
I don't have a problem with spendy items, I've used them myself (including Shelley's stuff) but only when it's pretty much the only way to achieve an effect. Remember how blown away Craig was by Ben Harris' X-ray? How much was that? Out of interest how much is the BCS selling for these days? Weigh that one up. Utter utter madness. (Bear in mind though if I ever come to sell one, I think it's !@#$*** amazing!!) Stopped watching after that. Magic used to be The Beatles, these days it's Kanye West. |

The very fact that you HAVE to ask if the fish thing is OK should give you the answer, 8 think anyone who p3rforms this is just SCREAMING please complain about me to the booker.
I can see this making sure you don'tget repeat bookings.
By failing to prepare, we are preparing to fail.

The fish trick is a bad idea, goldfish pee alot, especially when stressed, and they will be sickened by swimming in it, not get enough oxygen, get too hot, too stressed, and a lot of goldfish will be killed. Don't do the trick, or if you must, use a beta fish, they shouldn't be used either, but they are better equiped to handle it than any other fish. You could use a robitic toy fish or a fake rubber fish used for bait, the reaction won't be as good I suppose, but you won't get complaints or kill a fish.

I guess we won't be seeing a guest appearance from Craig in the foreseeable future...

So there sits Wayne, the fish expert. He tried to tell us something like 3 times and David kept cutting him off and never got to really say his expert comments. I kept yelling at the computer "Shhhh, let him talk!" I really would have liked to hear his final comments he tried to tell us.

He was not holding it right, he was standing wrong, he was doing this and that right. All this because he was very excited about a coin magic DVD previously. What a disgusting world we are living in. |

Can we get the fish to swim through the Hole 2.0? Did not like anything this week. The first trick is basically a magician fooler. Any good performer can do something similar for a layman with an ordinary deck and with proper management they will remember it exactly the way THIS was done.

Cesaral Magic has had that problem though. I see where Cesaral might be concerned. But, you're right. Good point. Cesaral has some superior, professional-quality stuff. Very spendy. People want to save $$$. So, a cheaper version always appears. Maybe not...in this case.

You even improved the cards after the initial release to make them even better. It's a real shame if Shelley didn't consult you before releasing this, but I'm guessing that he didn't even credit you in the package or video instructions, since David and Sean didn't mention or appear to be aware of your prior work on this.

Animals are not tools for your entertainment so don't user them as such. Sean, you "do a lot of corporate gigs?" Doing tricks in your Dad's office on his break does not count as a corporate gigs. Or does it? Insight is obviously made to fool other magicians, something that does not interest me as they do not pay my check. Sounds neat but definitely not worth almost $600 when the same thing can be accomplished with sleight of hand for laymen, and a lot cheaper. The cost is not worth it in this case as there is not much difference and would be remembered the same as a sleight of hand method. I have found cards in far more amazing, entertaining, and less expensive ways and will continue to use those. That money would be far better spent on a huge magic book or classic periodical set, all of which I already have.
The great trouble with magicians is the fact that they believe when they have bought a certain trick or piece of apparatus, and know the method or procedure, that they are full-fledged mystifiers. -- Harry Houdini

So Sean won't use it in his act? is that the information that this show is trying to communicate?
If so, then Sean's reviews will be very worthwhile for Sean. I'm not sure why the rest of us need to be involved. |

If they would not, then the score has to below 90. So he was, or less talking to Dave, as reason for the score. |
