Twisted Sisters can be done without the Elmsley count as stated above, but I agree with the author as stated in the booklet that comes with the trick, "I think that the trick is better if you use" the Elmsley Count. It just adds to the suprise/effect.

Ah thanx alot guy's , all is clear now...
Im odering the T S trick right now I learnt the basic count today , ive got an idea I might just do the count , but not count out loud if you know what I mean.. I just say after showing the cards , we have 4 queen's I've so much to learn , and lovin it..
Magic or just an illusion? it's a free choice .... isn't it?

Actually I prefer counting out loud. Especially when I want to emphasize "just four cards, one..two..three..and four"
Keeping a good cadence helps take the heat off of the "move" too.

Yes, you can do the Ghost Count from left hand Mechanics Grip dealing out to the right fingertips. Not at all difficult. Probably a good way to practice.

What I find that's weird is that I have absolutely no problem doing the count at the fingertips, but I've been having a heck of a time getting comfortable with in the mechanics grip. I know I don't have to have both if one way works, but I really want to get it this way, too.
BTW, I bought the Daryl video (Encyc. of Card Sleights Vol 7) and it's good, but he's not quite the teacher that Michael Ammar is. JesterJ |

Bill Malone talks about some handling subtleties in the (non-finger tip) Elmsley on his penguin live lecture. Really nice touches.
