I have problems Dribbling the Cards. They come off in clumps and not smooth. I have been fighting this flourish for years. There must be some secret to it or something that I'm missing. Can anyone help???
Magically yours,

Describe how you hold the deck. You should be pushing down on top sleightly with your index finger. As you do this, riffle with your thumb and they should just fall. My advice is to keep experimenting with pressure and grip and if it doesn't work, just forget about it and come back to it later. It's not terribly important in terms of flourishes or anything like that. Try springing the cards. It's much more satisfying. Hope that helps some!

Here are a few things that work for me...
first, I put very little pressure on the top of the deck with the index finger... just enough to give the cards a little bit of spring. Gravity does most of the work for my card dribble. second, I also bevel the deck a bit which makes it much easier to control the release of the cards into a steady stream/dribble. Hope that helps a bit. Good luck with it! |

In Card College volume 1 he goes over the proper way to dribble a deck of cards. After reading that and holding the cards a little different I noticed a difference right away.
