Hi,
Is it possible that the veneer silver of the edges of chinese coin and brass coin (I have a cerberus deluxe) already came out? When Cerberus is closed, we can see a gold ring... How the silver can disappear from the coin? Had anybody the same problem? Thanks for your answers... |

Have not seen this with my set from Lassen. Send it back and he will review it and fix if needed. May be a cost. Jonathan Todd Excelsior

NO need to answer the Rat del Lab dilemna. He is a known shill for some substandard European coin maker.
The silver plating on the Cerberus shell edge is very thin. It could possibly wear off with a lot of polishing or rubbing. You may ask Lassen to restore the plating if that ever is an issue, however Rat de Lab, the shill, is the only one that ever mentioned this problem that I have seen. He states that "we" have seen a gold ring. Rat Lab must've had a mouse in his pocket. Also probably the reason "we" didn't ask Todd to fix it if something was not right. I do think I remember the original Cerberus was made without plating, and that may be the scenario Dave is referring to. After all, I think he was the very FIRST to get his hands on one of these, since the creative process was enjoyed by both Todd and Dave according to Todd. |

Honestly the point of this Café is to share with the brotherhood and help separate the good from the bad. I am trying to do that part. Help people who don't know. I was doing magic over 20 years before I even SAW a Lassen gaffus. I WISH someone told about him before I bought all the other things out there for "lower" prices. I stand by Lassen and I think the community should support this craftsman so he makes more for us.
