I had to break out my demo tape again to re-watch the Three Silver Ghosts. Absolutely amazing! I still couldn't detect the left sleeve until the fourth time around. Well Mickey, you've manipulated VISION as well as SOUND in your demo. How about naming your DVD along the lines of "Manipulation of the Senses"? You're creating a great illusion of the sense of taste through your coin eating routine. So far, that's 3 out of 5 senses. I bet you could find ways of making us think we feel the coin and smell the coin!!

Simply amazing! And what a generous, humble, sharing person Mickey Silver is. He sent me the tape, insisted no reimbursement for postage, and shared his beautiful magic with me. I showed the tape to my girlfriend. She loves how loveable he seems to be. She was blown away by his magic. "He's not using real coins," she says. I told her the coin is in the other hand. "NOOOO," she retorts, "his other hand is empty...but how did the coin vanish? Does he know real magic?" Amazing job Mickey, can't wait for your instructional DVD.

Not only that. What's really scary is his move looks more convincing than if he actually placed the coin in his hand! |

Hey Vin,
You are one funny guy. I'm off camera making noises? Come out east and I'll have to beat you like a rented mule! By the way, Mickey will be going to Hank Lee's Cape Cod Conclave the middle of April. Not as a performer, just an attendee but I guarantee you that he will still be doing tons of coin magic for anyone willing to watch. Come on down, have a good time and meet Mickey! Jim C |

I just finished watching the demo and it is fantastic. It ABSOLUTELY looks like the coin is going into his hand! I love the convincer where he appears to pick it back up out of his hand. This is something that I've never seen done before.
I never expected Mickey to send the demo FREE OF CHARGE! I can't wait until the explaination is released. Please do let me pay for that one Mickey! LOL I can't wait to see more of Mickey's creations. Micheal Leath |

I saw the demo; I thought it was great! I felt Mickey acted a bit guilty with all the over proving of his right hand being apparently empty and all those pointing gestures. It almost seemed like he might be trying to disguise some type of tell of the right hand with the pointing, but I don't know.
Maybe since it was a demo he wanted to make clear the advantages of his SUV or perhaps it's just his characters body language. One point in the demo Mickey is sharing his thoughts of his move while apparently placing and taking the coin in and out of his left hand, he then pauses and gently reminds us that the coin has never actually been placed in that hand ever. That brought a big smile to my face, thank you for that Mickey. J |

I just watched Mickey's demo again. Mickey, excellent job! I was very impressed with your handling. I look forward to seeing all the other routines I've heard so much about. Sign me up for the DVD! So, if you haven't seen "my newest friends" work you're missing out.

Not to put the pressure on you, Mickey, but please release the DVD with all haste! I'm like a little kid on Christmas eve waiting for this to come out. The demo video is truly an inspiration, as is the man himself.

Mickey wants to make sure when it comes out that it is done right probably. It will be worth the wait and will be the dvd of the year for coin workers.
The ones that have seen the demo will most likely agree. |

I have the video and I agree it will be well worth the wait, regardless of how long it takes.
But that doesn't change the fact that I want it NOW!! |

I also am looking forward (intensely) to the release of his DVD teach-in, which, I hope, will be one of a series. Mickey is truly a coin Magician. I capitalize the first letter to signify that he holds the title.
His gift to us has made us examine our perspective of coin technique, maybe even hone our own skills, without even KNOWING Mickey's secret! The "notch has been kicked up" in the realm of coin magic, inspiring a LOT of us to dig out our coins, or in my case, go down to the coin & jewelry store and buy a dozen Eisenhower silver dollars, L.O.L.! To this day, I've never done the retention vanish as well as I do now, though it is NOT anywhere NEAR the SUV! I will wait patiently. Mickey will release this in his own good time, when he is happy with the production. Plus, he has to decide what ELSE (can you imagine?) to put on there! Doug |

Well I just watched my demo that Mickey sent me and must say I'm mighty impressed. I'm a total amateur when it comes to coin magic that uses only skill and this is exactly what I need to be learning. I'll take my DVD pronto!!!

Watch closely the way he moves, back and forth as he sends the coin from ear to ear...he almost FLOWS thru the moves...weight distribution, how he stands...the expressions, all weave together...and his hypnotic music! Ever think of that? Subliminal as hell, yet it also adds to the effect, it's so low in volume, just barely audible, but you KNOW it's there...
Pay attention to his philosophy. WHY the retention vanish works. He discovered something on his own, studied and worked hard to come up with this, and wants to share it anyone who will just ask him. I hope to see his work alongside Michael Rubinstein, David Roth, Michael Ammar...I wonder what they would think, if they saw THIS?? Makes ya wonder, doesn't it? Doug |

I also received a demo tape from Mickey and it really is fascinating! It is so difficult to describe with words…beautiful…gorgeous…stunning…pleasing…remarkable…delightful…fresh…etc, etc, etc…? It dropped my jaw so hard I needed a floor jack to get it back in place! It is so perfect in that you can keep PROVING, time after time, that it is still in your hand…and then slap their brain whenever you want to smile!
Thank you Mickey and please add me to you list for instruction. MoonBeam |
