Greetings Compeers...
Just wanted to let all of you know that I have received my leather bound WA...and what a fantastic version this is. When the first version of the WA was first made available some years ago...I purchased, and have been a BIG fan of this effect since then. I then purchased the WA / CE when it was made available...and retired my first version. Well, now, I have the ultimate version of this fantastic effect...the leather is perfectly aged as are the pages of the WA...the Tarot cards are slightly larger than those that came with the original and CE. The entire outfit is top notch...I chose the version with the title and symbol on the cover. To me, it looks more like a real book with a title. I couldn't be more pleased with this item...I have #2 out of 100. I'm putting together a reading system around my leather bound WA...and will be presenting it at the Phoenix Psychic Fair in January 2016. The service and shipping from Rick was right-on...this is best version of this effect...I can't imagine it getting any better than this. Continued Success, Dr. Dan |

Thank You LoPan...
The cards are basically the same...just a little larger. I would love to post a photo of them...but haven't a clue as to how to do that. If someone could provide some instructions, I see what I can do. Regards, Dr. Dan |

I received an order from Rick recently and have one more on its way... I've been working with my new WA hardcover edition and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to anyone in any format! The method is a thing of beauty and certainly shines with such beautiful craftsmanship. Outlaw is no magic shop, it is an atelier of shadows.
GAH, the pictures are making me drool over the leather bound... BUT I have a couple more things on my wish list before I get ANOTHER copy of WA. docdazzal: try attaching as a JPEG Cheers, Cooper

Wizard of Oz: The first commercially available spiral bound book was made available in 1934. The age issue concerned me too but I think that's old enough to work into your presentation. Still, the hardcover looks fantastic.

That's a fact I was not aware of Professor. Thank you.
Or course, this all comes down to personal preference and what one can comfortably present. Regarding this latest version, I have to say, after recently receiving it and simply handling it...opening and closing it...feeling the weight and textures of the materials...I'm a little creeped out. The look and feel of this book cover...for me at least...is less like animal hide, and more like human skin. Seriously. Like treated, weathered, preserved, aged skin...or at least what I imagine it could be like. And that symbol? Could that have been a brand? When I purchased this book I never saw this as a possible story-telling angle, but if I could think of it through touching it and feeling it, couldn't others?
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Wanted to let everyone know that I recieved my leather bound Dek - seal only - today less than a week after I ordered it. I recieved shipping confirmation with tracking without asking.
I think this is the issue that has been addressed several times here and I have to say great job Rick. Of course the Dek itself is perfect. I think I will give Outlaw a second chance. I hope most of you will too. |

This isn't hearsay, it's all written up by the people involved. I used to think he was just an unorganized guy, maybe with a drug issue. According to his former partners, he takes orders knowing he'll never fill them. He's beyond corrupt. He's a low life thief, that fancies himself "The Dark Lord" lol. He's never even done a show apparently, and isn't a performer of any stripe. Unless you consider being a pathological liar, and internet conman, performing. (Only place a loser like him could con someone.) Anyway, hope you all have a great day 252PSA

I was thinking of contacting him to see how long it would take for him to ship to see if he's still up to no good but why waste the energy when we all know he'll lie anyway. I'm truly sad for the guy. Not empathetic but sad that he let something great become what it is by stealing and lying to us. |
