It is with great sadness that I write this. Our dear fried Mick Hanzlik passed away peacefully last night after a battle with cancer.

Very sad news, Mick was a good friend over the years. Always willing to help and generous of his time.

I agree with Ian's comments. Mick was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Some years back, the two of us travelled together to visit the grand daughter of Mr Froggatt the handcuff maker. Great memories. RIP Mick.

Sad news.
I am just so thankful that I have the opportunity to remember Mick every time I use his wonderful products. Today they have gained special significance, and they will always remind me of a master craftsman.
Thank you Mick, you will be missed!

Mick was a good guy one of the most respected in escapology circles, we went back yonks and nothing was too much trouble for him. Like the time he traveled three hundred miles to a showground I was working. My gimmed mailbag seized on me,Mick came to the rescue and 'Gave me his own ' yes, gave it to me and wouldn't take a cent.
That's the type of guy he was, Pat & I will miss him greatly.

CHAINS have a tribute meet set up already, such was his acclaim in pro circles. He wasn't a bad close upper as well having worked many times in walk around with him he always held his own.

So check the dates, there he is now chatting with Harry, missed but never to be forgotten.

RIP pal. Smile

Words cannot express how saddened we are to hear this news. A great and giving person.

We have been in contact many times over the years. We have two of his Mirror Cuff keys. One is always on display along with his books. He was one of the main people who helped me with my appearance on The Travel Channel's Mysteries At The Museum show about The Mirror Cuffs. Very very sad news.

I'm very sad to hear of Mick's passing. Although it has been many years since I had any contact with Mick (I sold him my copy of the Harbin book back in the mid 90's) I remember him from the Northamptonshire Magic Club and visited his shop a few times; always a friendly and likeable man. My condolences to his family.
