I googled and looked at some images of the book: wow! I must say that while I expected an excellent product I think this will exceed even my high expectations.
It looks overwhelming it its scope and execution.

I'm in upstate NY and mine arrived today. My plan is to wait for the 25th to open the box. I say that's my plan because at Magic Live, I vowed that I wasn't going to look at some of the pages from the book and that vow didn't last 24 hours!

Richard I am not sure what "tip in" means. Can you please explain that?

It basically means to attach.

The signatures of the members of the Creative Division were done on a piece of paper. I carried the stack of 100 sheets to Japan and back several times, then to London (for Angelo's signature), and then to Las Vegas for Lubor's signature when he lectured at MAGIC Live.

I use a strip of acid-free adhesive which has to be applied to the backside at the top of each sheet, and then peel off the protective layer, turn the sheet upside down so the signature side is upward, and apply it to the endsheet, eyeballing it so it's straight. Considering how heavy the books are, and they have to be completely unpacked in order to do this, it's taking a REAL long time and playing havoc with the herniated discs in my back.

Shipping off a bunch tomorrow!

Got mine last week in NY, haven't opened it. I'm leaving them in the box wrapped until I clear a space in my bookcase. I will have more time to do that in January after all the seasonal work is finished.

Belgium (Europe) - book arrived this morning! Looks absolutely stunning and high quality! I never expected it to arrive before Xmas, so this is a great present for myself

Received the "Deluxe Version" today in New Orleans! Says on the outside of the box #70 of 100. I have not opened it up yet though. Trying to hold off until Christmas. We will see if I can. I have not yet received the extra package of goodies that included the tricks atc that Richard said would be coming separately. Can't wait. By the way, Richard was not kidding about the weight of these books. Just my package alone was unbelievably heavy. Now I know why it cost what it cost for the freight.

Received my Deluxe version today, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I plan on opening first time I can find a few hours to enjoy it.

I mailed the extra package of goodies that go with the deluxe editions by Priority Mail today to those in the US. You should have them before Christmas with any luck, or perhaps on the Saturday after.

For those outside the US, the box of extra stuff for the deluxe editions is being picked up by truck tomorrow. It will go to a warehouse out at Dulles airport and DHL will ship them out shortly thereafter (for post-Christmas delivery).

I don't recall a reason why the book had to come out this year, except that otherwise I might have gone CRAZY.

Yes, Pierre, if you ordered both editions your name might have snuck onto the list in the back twice.

The deluxe versions have NOT been DHL'd to foreign countries yet (with the exception of Canada, and I shipped those myself by UPS). They are at the DHL facility at Dulles Airport and should be shipped shortly.

Still a no show here in Chicago for the deluxe... odd since I think Richard is in Michigan, did I hear that correctly? Close enough to Chicago... but I am excited for when it does arrive!
