If someone could kindly provide a timeline for the routines that would be very helpful as I'm never going to have time to sit through 3 plus hours of video. I'm either at work or entertaining 2 children. Lol

One more question: Is there a table of contents to select topics to watch?

Standing in front of the mirror making the moves look natural will take a lot of practice. Many of the bold moves in magic are technically pretty simple, but hard to get away with. Palming a card, doing a top change, reversing a card. After performing for years, I don't even think about them. Easy. That said, I can remember being very frustrated early on because I would get caught. What changed? It wasn't so much practicing the sleights and getting better. It was understanding the offbeat and truly utilizing misdirection. This is hard to teach. Greg even discusses it on the video. You will just get to know the moment. You just feel it. It's crazy what you can get away with at the right time. Beginners should absolutely try this out. Just know going in that you won't perform this tomorrow. I'm a professional magician. I've worked for years. I can tell you I will work daily at this for a couple weeks before trying out for a "real" audience. |

I really like this gimmick. It will take some time and effort to make it work efficiently. The instructional download by Gregory Wilson, however, was supurb; very clear, well thought out, great attention to detail and, at times, pretty funny.

Actually, and I know it's already been mentioned, the Daniel Maddison switch @ 3:24:50 is by far the best, and easiest IMO.

Magicbrady,
I would suggest you use double sided tape which would make it easier to replace it later. KJ |

And to remove double sided tape from it, try lighter fluid

Would y'all think that the mechanics of this move can be used for a switch like the one involved in "Aquarium" by Gustavo? (
