Can someone who has this can share the review, please? Or maybe I'll just wait for video comparison between void and space time. I'm pretty sure it will be out soon..

Still no reviews of this one? Someone advised to bought this not SpaceTime with no more info or whatsoever. Anyone can confirm that statement? Thanks in advance, though.

The gimmick is much better, and easy to move the gimmick. Space time is crap.
Buy Void!! |

One of the things that suprised me about void and what I like most is when you look at the gimmick you will suprised about how the unexpectable design that build into the Void.... Without giving to much away, when you make the hole moves to another spot, the same exact picture always fill the ex-hole, and it happens constantly... that's make this gimmick more undetectable in my opinion... That system not only applied in the back of the gimmick but also in the face of it... So you can show the gimmick front and back without too much worry.... And it can happens because agus was made this with high precision in details... I think dankefogen and anyone who already bought Void will understand what I'm saying about... So overall I think you won't dissapointed with this...
I hope my little explanation can helps everyone who curious and intrested with Void... |

Hi folks.
First time poster here. I've been a lurker for quite a while and thought it was a bit of a shame this thread wasn't getting much attention. I just received void and watched the DVD. I saw the thread about Space Time which is getting pretty mixed reviews about the gimmick itself. I don't have Space Time so can't comment on any of the specifics, but I can talk about Void. PROS: First of all, the gimmicks (as has been said, you get two) are spot on. A lot of careful thought has been put into how these gimmicks work and look. Also, a lot of care has been made in the construction. Honestly, the gimmicks I received are perfect. The cards are obviously thicker than normal, but I don't believe a spectator/participant would notice - they aren't too thick is what I'm saying, I guess. The mechanism for moving the card is well made and you get a heap of replacements should the mechanism wear down, fall off, etc... Not really sure how to explain this better without revealing too much! I ordered from Agus Tjiu's website as has been linked elsewhere in the thread. The customer service from him was excellent. Within minutes of placing my order he emailed me to confirm my shipping details, with pictures showing my packed product, address label etc. Then providing me with my tracking number. Top customer service. CONS: As I said, I haven't purchased Space Time, so can't compare directly, but Void is a bit more expensive so that could be considered a con, however you do get two gimmicks, a "normal" card and a double backer. So may be considered better value for money in that respect. Agus is from Indonesia, and the DVD is in Indonesian with English subtitles. It didn't bother me too much, though it may bother some. I think some of the translation may not have been perfect. I also suspect there were some things that may have been explained in Indonesian, that the subtitles weren't covering as there are a couple of things that didn't fully make sense to me, or weren't covered in a lot of detail. But there was enough there for me to get the gist. Again, some people may be bothered by this, but the production value is low. There's no "live performances" other than the bits you see in the trailer. It's just a camera on a tripod in front of a table type job and it overall quite short. There are a 2 or 3 routines that provide some good ideas as starting points to to do your own thing. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and I do recommend it. Cheers, Ian |

Something that I can't seem to grasp is the idea of having a hole punch with me to perform this effect?
Can this be avoided somehow? I'm a hobbyist and mostly perform at bars and when I'm out with friends. |

They sell small hole punches. also depending on how the gimmick is constructed you could potentially make the holes less perfect and "stab" a pen through it to create the hole.

Personally, I don't see why you would have to use a hole punch. I think it's possible that you could come up with your own reasoning to why the whole appears, like the pen idea that TuneHV mentioned, or something maybe more obscure/silly such as "pulling a hole" out of the air and throwing it onto the card.

I like the pen idea, could lead into "The Vanishing Pen" later on.

Finally received it ! It took some time to come but I'm so happy right now. I don't have Space Time so I can't compare for now but I feel like Void is one of the most ingenious gimmick I've seen in a long time.
It is really well made, works as a charm and you can feel a lot of time have been put into it. Will do a full review later but I'm very very happy right now, completely workable and easy to do !

Can this be handled freely when "set"?
Or does it require you continously holding it in place before the effect happens? Hopefully that makes sense. |
