What's the best place to buy older versions of Rider Waite Tarot deck.
The ones that were not laminated and were not printed by USPCC or in China? |

The oldest I've found were from 70s. Not old enough to be any different than the mostly plastic cards today. Would suggest getting a repo centennial deck and aging it.

No,Tarot is only for Q&A,not for magic trick performing.
I ask for easy spread Tarot so every card would have a chance to be chosen. I find standard Tarot card tend to stick together even wide spread, some card is under another card and decreased the chance to be chosen. |

And second, there's lots of magic you can do with a Tarot deck. And lastly, I'm not sure what you're talking about here either. All the standard tarot decks (commercially sold) I have spread just fine. . .

To afinemesh:
English is not my native language. When I mean Q&A,I don't mean strictly Q&A act in classic mentalism style. I also do Tarot reading, palm reading, cartomancy sort of thing. I tend not to use Tarot card mixing with magic. I am not rookie in magic/mentalism,I just normally don't post in this board, and I am asking for help politely, hope you notice that. My card skill actually is very advanced,I can do table faro and very advanced card moves. But standard Waite Tarot back is not as smooth as bicycle deck, they don't have air cushion back, When I spread Tarot cards,Tarot card tend to stick together in a group of 2 or 3cards or some cards hides under other cards. So I am thinking if there is any brand of Tarot Deck with similar back design to Bicycle deck that can be spread evenly and smoothly. |

Sychou, I am far to be a card specialist but have a look at the German company Card-shark, they have a very good reputation.

Just like any other cards, they have been used for card tricks. And in 1910, the Waite-Smith deck (AKA Rider-Waite) deck was published. This deck was coded with symbols and meanings from the Golden Dawn magic system, so they have been used for both types of magic... |

Does anyone here have an older University Books edition Rider Waite Tarot that looks old from age? The older/more used it looks, the better.
If you’re willing to let it go, please PM me. Thanks. |

At ECSS last month, I saw a very nice RWS 1910 deck. PM me for details, as the creator has asked for no public disclosures.
