Does anybody do the one with the jacket in front of them? I don't recall the actual name of it. I used to do it from the ground on to a box and it was really impressive. I havn't seen anybody do that particular levitation in years, is it dead? Just curious.

Cardfreax, the Elevator is a gimmicked effect. It's not really impromptu, but is one of the most angle-friendly levitations on the market. The normal Elevator doesn't let the audience see underneath, but from what we hear about the E2, this could change.

The self levitation is the BIG thing everyone wants to do right now...so I do other things instead.

Steve Fearson's effect (fearsons Box) uses the milk crate. I have it, but have not built it yet (not because its difficult, just have not had the time). I think that it will play really good. It is probably not for the impromptu street crowd as it is not examinable. However, stage and parlour should be great. Heard wierd stuff about SF tho, something about some manuscript?? Anyway, I believe you can still by it from SF website.

I used a milk crate when I did my levitation. I went from the ground to the crate. I used the crate because they're handy in the kitchen and you can stand on them. I don't know what to tell you about the suspenders.

I really don't have the guts to show a levitation. Maybe on stage, but on the streets not yet, I still need practice.

King Rising works best for me, better angle. Don't do it a lot. Pretty well all of them are too easy to get caught at.

I've only done the elevator in front of people (and balducci, of course). I know King's Rising but never actually performed it for someone... don't want to get caught. But I think I'll try it in the not too distant future.

Seem to me that everyone has seen this Aluin preview, but me! Was I sleeping when they decided to bring that sample of the Aluin out? Is there any other way of seeing this levitation? Does anyone care to show it to me and others?
Sounds like the Aluin went underground real quick. Why do they do that? It's as if they screwed it up somehow and now are trying to hide possibly because of law suits. In every search that I checked out for the Aluin, it is now a non-exsisting site. That would take a lot of clean up and a lot of phone calls and possibly money to exchange hands to be able to get information to disappear on the Internet!!! Not even the cached information is available. Hmmmm..... |
