Was wondering if their is any video out there of the original Himber Vanishing Bottles routine?

The only TV performance I ever saw was Harry Anderson. It may have been from SNL, but I don't recall. I have a set and they are fun to use.

That concept was created by Persi Diaconis when he worked for Himber. Ron Wilson did a version and I recall seeing a video.

The effect:
Magician has a large wood looking box on a table. He removes a bottle from box, displays it and replaces it back in the box. This is repeated 8 times. Finally, he makes up his mind and removes on bottle. He then picks up the bottomless and topless box, collapses it. All the other bottles have vanished. Trick requires a separate table with top, it is a cardboard 4 sided box, with wood grain covering. On the box, if I remember correctly, it Bottles in black letters. I sold mine to Michael Baker, I hope he is enjoying it. |
