I'm wondering if anyone has found neo magnets that are thinner than 0.5mm. Maybe something around 1/64 inch (0.4mm)?
Thanks!,
Bill

Make sure the thin ones are well cushioned or they may shatter when they come crashing together.

Just make sure that magnets that thin have the sticking power you need because, no matter the circumference, increasing thickness increases strength and visa versa.

Good points, thanks. I have had the 0.5mm ones shatter. Luckily no injuries

I found 0.25mm neodymiums on ebay (5mm dia disks) from a seller called Zigmag416 . I ordered them but haven't seen them yet so I can't say if they're really 0.25mm or if it's perhaps a typo. If it is legit these magnets could be completely embedded within the thickness of a single playing card. (playing card is 0.29mm thick)

They really are incredibly thin neodymiums! 0.25mm, thinner than a playing card. Here's a few images I posted to a youtube video:

They seem pricey at 7 bucks a pop, but these are the thinnest I have seen. They have a pull force of .016 pounds which isn't much so I'm not sure how useful they'll be. The picture of them on a dime is actually a row of them, not just one.

Yes, $7 each would be too much unless you had a very specific requirement for that dimension.
Here's a new link to some youtube images of the 0.25mm x 5mm discs. Had a little fun with some hovering cards, but to be fair, their hovering is not related to the magnets.

These came to about 80 cents each

At 80 cents each those are probably a much better option. They are only .05mm thicker and I'm sure if they were painted a matching color they would be easy to conceal on a card.

Check these out!
25mm x 10mm x 0.3mm probably impossible to use them without shattering!

Without information about magnetic grade, they will be pretty useless.
Minimum grade should be 58 and up.... and I doubt these are...

Just wanted to let you know about these 0.25mm neodymiums (thinner than a playing card). They are N52 but so thin that they can't pick up coins or anything heavy like that. But they do bond cards which is useful for many effects, and they are now available in square shape for the first time:
