Hello.

29 year old from Norway here. Recently decided to get into cardmagic about 3-4 months ago. It found me totally at random (wish it did sooner) and it caught me by surprise with how much fun I am having.

Now, only kneedeep in I am still learning new stuff everyday. The thread I made in the 'newcomer tips' forum has been a huge help.

Next step I guess is reading, tons of practise managing my learning.

Hoping to be contributing to this forum and getting Nowrwegians intrested in magic when I get the skill and capability to do so Smile.

Welcome to the Café. This is a great place.

Eirik from Norway was a regular and most helpful poster here years ago. Bar magic was his thing.

I wonder what happened to him? I wish I knew. We were friends on line for awhile.

Enjoy the Café.

Regards

Jose

Welcome Foleylantz,

I think Dick Oslund mentioned he has a Norwegian background. He's not so into Cards but very big in entertainment.

I like Cards and I think you've made a good choice for a start. There is plenty of time to check out other stuff later.

Have Fun and keep a journal of your progress. You don't need much detail, just what you're working on and a few dates now and again. It's fun to look back.

Thank you. And that's not a bad idea! I guess this smartphone is good for something.

Do an advanced search for Norway in "Our New Arrivals".

Several names will pop up. Private Message them if they are near you or ask them where local Magicians hang out.

Best of luck!
