Hey gang,
Have you checked out the latest project from Mike and the boys at Collectable Playing Cards? Bicycle® OLD PARCHMENT Playing Cards by Collectable Playing Cards We have discovered Bicycle® Old Parchment Playing Cards and we are bringing them to you. ABOUT THIS PROJECT… Bicycle® Old Parchment is an ode to the days before the printing press. It is a classic look that will forever be inscribed in history. The yellowed brittle paper has been the template in which many historic writings have been produced. The most famous being the Declaration of Independence. This one of a kind deck is one for the ages so be sure to get yours today for your collection. Designed by Collectable Playing Cards and printed by the United States Playing Card Co (USPCC).
The back design is reminiscent of an old map design and portrays the dusty burn marks outlining the entire card. The face cards are standard with a sandy look to them. The burn marks also line the card. The Jokers are almost puppet like figures dressed in warm oranges and yellows to compliment the style of the paper. RISKS AND CHALLENGES The Bicycle® Old Parchment Deck has already been approved by USPCC for printing. We expect to receive the the decks in September 2016 and immediately begin shipping to all our backers. We do not anticipate any challenges with this project. How do we print and ship out rewards so quickly? We have a close relationship with USPCC. They are able to print our designs quickly and we have a state of the art fulfillment center to quickly ship out our backer rewards. With out you, our backers, we could not make this happen. A BIG thank you to Kickstarter and most importantly all of you! Mike Guistolse Collectable Playing Cards ---
