I picked this up from Matt a few days ago - since that time my imagination has gone into over-drive thinking about how I can utilize the core principles in my work.
This is a SERIOUSLY IMPRESSIVE bit of thinking. It feels like one of those techniques that has been staring us all in the face for DECADES but it took Matt's special mind to create a script and context to make the deception perfect. Although "Thought Control" can be classified as 'propless', it relies on a completely different perceptual framework than the material and techniques traditionally found within the genre. Highest recommendation (not that my opinion should really matter to anyone ). Best, Drew

I'm sorry to hear you feel that way, cardbiker.
For those who are interested in checking out "Thought Control", I'd just like to clarify that 7 of the 10 previous positive reviews were all from actual buyers. I know that some purchasers like to know those sorts of details to make an unbiased, informed decision. Though, the other 3 positive reviews all gave their honest input, as well. We can't please everyone, even with an idea that I feel is revolutionary, and elevates a classic principal of mentalism. |

I've sent Matt an idea I had which I think effectively deals with the slight con in the first two versions. I will definitely be taking it the in the direction I'm heading in now!! Perhaps I've found my new Opener???
It has definitely inspired me none the less. Madison |

Matt, perhaps a Facebook group could be started to share ideas? I feel we would all benefit from this.

Everything that I want to say about this has already been said. I've bought a lot of Matt's material in the past and I love nearly all of it and the best characteristic about his material is that they are simplistic and that's what makes these real world workers. Madison said everything I wanted to say about this...the first and second effect are great. For stage, I don't think you will be able to beat the 3rd effect. Nothing written down, nothing to peek, and whats great about this is that it's 100% accurate. One of the best propless mentalism effects I've seen.

I bought this the other day. Matt is a genius.
Question though, why do a Facebook group, wouldn't a thread downstairs be sufficient? |
