Greg Rostami Cosmos Duo is good but requires certain sleights and is not so impromptu.

My favorite will be released in an e-book that I'm yet to finish. It uses a concept based on a psychology feature called "repetition blindness".
The set of criteria: 1-Uses a borrowed shuffled ordinary deck 2-Deck don't have to be complete 3-No "s***ch" in the middle of separation 4-Although the participant makes several choices, it doesn't matter what he chooses to go where, he WILL separate reds from blacks with no funny moves 5-Finish with participant separating reds and blacks himself, without looking, from cards he shuffled himself 6-Works 100% of the time 7-Finish 100% clean Here's the kicker: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkJvL4qsFWs Gladly I was able to fulfill the criteria (took me years though, and it's only possible thanks to the concept), but I'm still looking other versions that may be appealing to me, because the concept works with pretty much any OOTW you can think of, among other stuff that I'll show in the book. The other stuff is quite nice too. I won't talk about it for now to not spoil the fun, but they are very very deceptive (magi foolers). Even performers are not imune to the concept. Somebody could fool me using it, as I have used it to fool close friends and pros. One pro in particular refused to believe the method even after I taught him. I'm pretty sure I'm bringing something new to the table. Cheers, Max Hazy

Ammar's version is really nice as it achieves two things. It counters the "too perfect" problem, i.e. that if *all* the cards are correct the effect is too artificial - I've never liked simply planting a couple of wrong cards to avoid this, it ironically deflates the effect. And secondly it provides an extra kicker that, just when the spectators think their mind can't be blown any more.... they are...

I like the impromptu version, I.e. when the spectator can first shuffle the deck.
Regarding the performer suddenly “correcting” a spectator, that’s always bothered me. Because it could lead to speculation that a marked deck is being used. |

I'd love to see a version called World War III. It would be similar to 52 pickup but when the cards are strewn all over the face up are red and face down are black.

I like being able to do it with a borrowed, shuffled deck, and I believe the way I perform it is based on Harry Lorayne's impromptu version.

I also love Harry Lorayne's version. I like all the dealing and mixing, I think it adds to the effect. But my favorite is the Ammar version discussed above. I use both.
