No--why would it be a joke? It looks pretty cool--I know I'm grabbing it today too. I've always been intrigued by classic pellet effects, but wondered if they were too "small" to be effective nowadays... but Docc makes a strong case, and I'm rarely let down by his material.

Well, I've only seen about half the video, haven't heard the audio, and the PDF doesn't seem to be available yet--looking forward to that. But from what I've seen, it is terrific! I'm enjoying it, and I think it will be something I'll use. You're familiar with the basic method of course, but Docc's touches are worth it, IMO. I'm not disappointed at all.
Thumbs up! |

No, I meant the promo video
I have a policy not to buy anything over $50 until reviews come in from trusted sources.

Thanks for the info Seth.
*That* has got to be the best promo video for a mentalism product ever. I've always been a huge fan of Docc's work and have yet to be disappointed with anything he's released. I did look at buying this the other night, but $200 is a little too rich for my blood - so I bought "Hypnotic Eye" instead. |

I seem to have a vague memory of seeing something decades ago of a technique wherein a pea sized pellet is picked up and placed by the "reader" on the point of a pencil (therein where the sw!+ch is accomplished?) If not one of the ideas in a Bob Nelson manuscript, was it a Bert Reese idea? (Have sold, off most of my comlete collection of Nelson stuff, so cannot research it there.)

Practical Mental Effects has something similar. Needs to be adapted a little but the basics are there.

I've been enjoying this the past week and I'm going to make a video review when time permits.
That being said... I'm familiar with the concept of pellets, but reading about them in classic mentalism literature they seemed... Well...unworkable. Docc exposes why that is so and why the information out there is written so haphazardly then really goes over how to make them work in today's world. I'm really excited by the concepts discussed and my training wheels to build confidence with the techniques is in the context of the routine The Tempest (also a Docc routine). This is truly worth what you make it and at the same time, how invaluable is being able to do a truly strong piece of sure fire reputation making mentalism with almost anything available around you? This just feels like something you'd see in a movie where two people are at a restaurant and one person does something truly supernatural out of nowhere. XX, Jacob |

Hi Jakob,
Is this only a one-on-one method?
