For me it's
1) Little Door by Roddie McGhie 2) Wikitest Graham

Not even a contest in my opinion. Wikitest by Marc Kerstein is so AWESOME. And so powerful. That it will have a life long lasting impression on your audience...It represents what real magic would look like. Quite possibly one of the best purchases I have EVER made.
But with a strong second place for me, I'd have to go with little door by Roddie McGhie. |

I do not think we can vote for inject because it was released in the fall of 2015. I believe the rules state it must be new releases from the current year.

Not trying to troll here but, I find it interesting how many people have wikitest (clearly an mentalism effect) and little door (clearly a magic effect) both on their lists for trick of the year.

Add my +1 to this. in addition I would like to see a category of "Best purchase made this year." That way besides the best new release of this year, there would be a place for a product that may have been put out a couple to many years ago that suddenly made a huge comeback, be it a Re-release, an update to an older version or maybe something that was done on TV and everyone started using it again.
