Hello all,
Do any of you knows where I can find a hole punch that makes holes with a shape fitting exactlly with any of the bicycle cards suites (heart, spade, diamond or club), the normal size or even the index size? Thank you very much for your help! (Gran)Raf |

Scroll half way down the page and click on "select custom shape" There are 1000 shapes to choose from. The four suits are all in the top 50 shapes, I think. Best of luck.

Might have to use a utility knife, I don't think there is any punch that will do a pip exactly

If you are making a 'hollow card', and don't need to save the pip, a good trick is to start with a standard hole-punch to do hearts or clubs. A hole-punch almost perfectly matches the contour of the curves. See image here: https://postimg.cc/image/sversjez5/
Of course, it will require a utility knife to finish up. Here's a handcut one I did a few years ago: https://postimg.cc/image/9079br4dv/ Good luck! |

That's nice...
But it's not the same effect I imagined. For this one, I need exactly the same shape in the hole punch than in the bicycle card suites... T_T |

You could do this with a craft cutter (I use a Silhouette Cameo).
There's a mat called PixScan for the Cameo that would do this. I use it for other things, like odd shapes made with one playing card as well as effects from MagicBobs I Hate Card Tricks. Dave |

In addition to the CNC drag knife option (Cameo or Cricut are consumer level options) you can also use a laser cutter. We have a few maker spaces in town where access is free or cheap....

Sorry to bring this old thread back, but I'm just curious if the consumer machine cutters, like the Cricut and Silhouette Cameo (newer models and such), are the able to cut out the pips of a playing card with good accuracy and precision? Would they be able to cut out a card similar to what Bill08 posted with the pips, index and number cut out as well?
