Hello I am looking for resources on doing a Q&A act with a crystal ball. I want to take the blindfold version of what I am doing and replace the blindfold with a crystal ball.
I currently have the audience write down 3-4 pieces of information and a question on note cards. I still want this is the act. However I to openly use the crystal ball to get the impressions. |

Didn't Tim Conover do such an approach?

Eric Mead is working on a Conover book, which I am eagerly anticipating it for this very purpose (though I have no idea when it may be published).
What exactly are you looking to learn that isn't just general Q&A methodology?

Perform q&a and use a crystal ball as you do. Get Bobs video download on the subject.

A crystal ball can mask all kinds of, um , cheating using 'normal' methods
Why a crystal ball though? |

Isn't that the stereotypical first image one thinks of when they think of a psychic?

Bob Cassidy has a Q&A routine in print with a crystal ball. I think he uses an acrylic ball (weighs less), but I might be misremembering.

Hey Tony...
Great looking set-up...do you do readings and Q & A with this set-up...? Continued Success, Dan |

Greg that is funny!!! I actually like that drinking idea. It would work so well in bars and comedy clubs and other venues. Brings back the old performers who smoked and drank on stage.
Some real nice ideas here but lacking on my initial question of resources. |

Two have been given - Nelson's and Casssidy's. Conover's if you can find the source as Eric won't be releasing his works on Tim for some time (closeup material will be coming first, then his stage materials).
