Has anyone out there spun a full deck more than 20 real seconds? If so, would you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me the length of the p*n? Mine is a hair shorter than the depth of a nickel. I can spin a single card for probably a whole minute but I can't get this whole deck down. If the "you know what " was slightly larger you could spin it way easier without compromising the effect. Once you add the box into the equation you are going to get a drag. Please someone check their gimmick with a nickel and let me know before I go insane.

IMO 10 seconds is all you need. 20 seconds is boring and one minute would be like watching paint dry.

That was my exact reaction when I got mine. I thought it was impossible to spin for more than 2 seconds, and there must be something wrong with mine.
It took a lot of practice, pain, and a bit of cracked skin, but after a week or two it started to balance for a few seconds. Keep practicing over a bed, it'll be frustrating for a bit- but don't give up! Like Nicholas said, 20 seconds is overkill. Even 5 seconds is really impressive. Two tips: Make sure it's centered (it's easy to figure out if using Bicycle cards). When starting out, use tape to position it. If you let it loose, constant practice will expand the hole and the spin makes the deck wobble. PS. I just checked and mine is about the width of a nickel, so there's nothing wrong with yours. |
