*A little story... Smile

I have been playing with this NEW effect, Copper Silver INC. for a while now and had done it quite a few times at a local diner that has some of the best chocolate cream pie anywhere. Smile Anyway, I was just there yesterday enjoying another piece, when a little girl in a nearby booth with her parents, kept telling her mother, "Mom, that's the man with the changing coins!" Evidently, she had seen me there before showing the trick to others. Her mom told her not to point, but she kept excitedly telling her about it. After a while, I just looked over and asked if they'd like to see for themselves, and presented it to them while having their lunch. The manager and a couple of bus boys rushed over to watch again too, and just smiled all the way through as the copper and silver coins kept changing hands. I dropped the two coins on the table and the mom picked them up and just shook her head and said, "Just how could that be...That's amazing!" I winked at the little girl and she smiled, telling her mother over and over, "I told you so mom, I told you so!" Smile

So, while the official name here is Copper Silver INC., I happily accept the little girl's nickname for it as well, as that's what the magic looked like to her and seemingly to all there... MBs Changing Coins. What fun! Smile

Hi funs, Smile

Thanks, and happy to release this. It's fun because it's so visual, unlike a lot of other copper silver effects old & new, you actually see the coins change and change places upon clean shows of the hands all the way through. Smile

Appreciate all the interest on this...I have done this a lot now and people are just amazed by it, and it's easy to just do on the spot anytime, anywhere a little magic will make the day better. Smile

With this one, less is a lot more. Smile

Nuthin better than watching the genuine, baffling happiness, look on a kids face after you finish an effect. One kid in particular I'll never forget. We went on a picnic to a small park in the CO. mountains. I showed this boy a quick simple spongeball set. The look on his face was priceless. Even our friends mentioned that kids face years later during conversation. Your story reminded me of that special day MB. Thanks! Sounds like you hit gold on your coin set. Smile db

This is beautiful in it's seemingly straightforward simplicity. I like it lots. It's magic!

Well, thank you gents... Smile Glad you like this new "Changing Coins" aka "Copper Silver INC." It really is a lot of fun and it always amazes people on the spot. Smile

*Oh, and I meant to mention something relative here, more especially as to "Trick Coin Trickery"...

While I use copper and silver, there is another level of deception that can be accomplished with a special coin made by John Jurney called, Transformer Coin. It is a slickly crafted idea that basically allows one coin to show "3" different sides, interchangeably two at a time. In this way, instead of just the copper part for my effect, you could actually change it to a Chinese coin (with a hole in it)...Imagine that, a c/s coin that can also be a Chinese coin? Smile

This coin is the combination of two classic ideas and comes with it's own solid routine and John's top-flite craftsmanship, but I have also used the coin for my routine many times to take advantage of the Chinese hole aspect. It's like adding a little special seasoning to prime rib or chocolate syrup to a big cold glass of milk. Smile

Check with John as to yet another wonderful coin in his arsenal, whether you use it for my routine or not, it's well worth a look-see. I guarantee that you will marvel at this thing... Smile

*Reach out to John as to this, and tell'em Mb sent'cha! Smile
