Thanks Prince I am glad I stuck with this and I very much look forward to now receiving it and I must say Michael has been first class throughout this thread which is highly refreshing . Thank you for the heads up after our initial doubts and I agree with you now about the cards being different is actually better Tarik 😊

What is the brand of cards used? Rather than make up a deck in Bicycle I'd rather buy a regular deck that matches the CRH deck.

By using this one off deck the justification is perfect why this deck is different to your usual deck of bicycle for example, as this is what a marked deck looks like. So by demonstrating this effect with a random deck, people won't be suspicious when you use your other deck. I originally wanted to make this up in bicycle to match my normal decks I use, but feel if you present this effect displaying your usual deck, by the end of the demonstration the spectators will realise that there are trick cards involved etc etc. You then bring a regular deck of bicycle out and instantly they will probably think trick deck or trick cards involved as they have just seen you perform a trick with a trick deck using the same cards. |

Yeah, I agree, having a different deck to explain a marked deck of cards eliminates the need to have a matching deck. This is a great routine Michael.
With that being said, and not to take away from Michael's trick, but I also have been enjoying Asi Wind's Gypsy Queen, which uses the same brand of cards, and when you order you get a matching nongimmicked deck with it. However, as a standalone piece, Caught Red Handed is great, and I don't believe you need to worry matching up the decks. |

The reason I wanted a matching regular deck (there are Superior brand - I know now I have it) is because I wish to use it as a final card trick. That trick you forgot after you put away your cards & bring them out for one last finale. I just find a colour changing deck routine is much stronger after a regular identical deck has been in play.
It is a great routine on it's own though and I guess most will perform it as is. Nice cards though. Certainly handle better than bikes |

Besides my wife, my 14 year old and 12 year sons are my toughest cirtics. They loved this trick! Highly recommended.

I have now received this and had a chance to play with this and it's a truly great effect and the best use of this premise I have ever seen . Yes I knew the method before buying but I agree the cards being different I do much prefer as it makes the patter better imo and the quality of these cards are very very good . The handlings Michael teaches are superbly done and even the advanced handling is easy to master . Having said that all 3 handlings will appear super clean to a lay audience and I am very impressed with the rationale of them all . If you add a couple of little bits one of which Michael suggests and the other I just have decided to do myself it makes it appear like everything is completely examinable as you have shown the maximum of everything you can which to the spectators that is everything . This has been very well thought out and I highly recommend it after initially being hesitant as Michael has taken this type of effect to another level and it's very evident that it was an effect he liked very much and his thought process was to nail this too perfection and I believe he certainly has . Top notch stuff , best wishes Tarik 🙂

My friend Arthur Ottney and I did put a lot of thought and work into making sure Caught Red-Handed was what we wanted it to be before releasing it to the magic community. Hope you have as much fun with it as we've had. My best, Michael |

This is a fantastic trick. I was on the fence, but now cannot wait to purchase. I have a few decks of superior brand playing cards, so am aware of the quality. It is awesome that you gave all the responses that you did Michael, you and Arthur did a great job. Thanks for sharing this with the magic community.
