* The spectator FREELY deals two piles all the way to the end with TOTAL freedom, with no interruptions. * The spectator DECIDES which pile are the red cards and which are the black cards. * The piles NEVER touch each other, and remain clearly separated before you reveal them. * You end clean, and everything is immediately examinable. You can immediately continue doing tricks with the same deck... even though this would be a great time to take your bow and leave them speechless. * Uses a regular deck of cards It sounds too good to be true. |

They decide after they've dealt all the cards?

I like this version. The only con is that spec cannot shuffle cards beforehand, but you can false shuffle of course. I don't think that diminishes the effect and it saves having to use a s------r deck, which I hate in any case. Very easy to execute and this will stun your audience as per the real life demos. Well worth the price imo. No switching required. Can be performed with a borrowed deck once setup.

Zilch for mental effort. Very easy to perform. Once you have the deck setup it takes about 2 secs to do the 'work' required. After that it's just a formality. It doesn't matter if the piles are unequal. Just try and control the spec to make the piles as close as, so as not to arouse suspicion. There has been a lot of thought gone in to this particular method.

I love ootw effects as well but since I purchased Dean Dills version I've been spoiled! But gosh this is very tempting indeed.

There seems to be a gigantic crimp in the cards that the camera picks up very easily. I can't imagine a spectator not noticing that certain cards have a large bend in them in a casual, close-up setting.

My question seems to have been missed.
I suspect this is a larger version of Out Of this Blah Blah Blah, personally.

I've not purchased it (probably won't) - but "on the tin" it doesn't appear to be anything all that different from what's already been developed on this plot. To me this appears to run on the "machine" under girding Jon Armstrong's "Out of this Blah, Blah, Blah" and a clean up similar to Paul Harris'"Galaxy" or Derren Brown's "Out of this World". I learned "Out of this Blah Blah Blah" (I think) on Reel Magic season 1. I'm not 100% sure it's the proper name for the trick I learned, but that is what everyone tells me I learned when I describe it. This version seems to use the exact same method of doing the final reveal of all the cards being separated.

Out of this Blahblahblah requires some mental effort which seems replaced by something else as suggested above...

There are a number of ways to eliminate the "mental effort" required The easiest just being to pick up one of the piles and look it over to "check how the person did" before moving to the reveal sequence.

Sorry to side-track, feel free to ignore: was Out of this blah published on paper besides Reel Magic and various lectures?

Brief Googling shows it was put out on his L&L set: Jon Armstrong - Card Magic - 3 Volume Set
I don't know if it's in a book anywhere.

Oh jeeze, this was a long time ago. Somewhere near the end of the first year, maybe second. It was one or two episode into when he started doing his "article" for RM.
