Sure is. I like Eugene Burger's use of Glorpy for this.

I know this effect as Francis Carlyle’s The Upside Down Deck published in Scarne On Card Tricks (1950), which is itself an enhanced variation on Walter Gibson's Double Reverse in "JINX" 1940.

I did not know the Paul Rossini reference. Could someone elaborate on this?

Rosini's Double Reverse is published in one of the big Eugene Burger hardcovers. He also described it as The Visibly Turning Cards.
I learned it from his excellent Discoveries pamphlet.
