I am interested in joining SAM, and I saw there were two chapters in LA. There was a chapter that met in Alhambra, and I don't see them listed in the SAM page anymore. Did they close in the last month or two?

I'm curious about this as well. I only saw assembly 291 (meets in Stoner Park) through the SAM search. It looks like the chapter out of Alhambra (assembly 22) still has an active Facebook page as of a few days ago, though.

Ok,
They still have an active assembly. They meet on the 3rd Monday of each month, but the next two meetings are closed. Also, in July, they are moving to a new location. You can reach out to the facebook page and they will connect you with the chapter president and get you all set up for meetings.
