Because the new stage show we’re rolling out is very audience participation heavy, we’re doing a bunch of charity shows in the spring and summer as rehearsal (that way we can do a short program to work on the show piece by piece). Of course, mounting the show does get expensive and we are not passing that expense on to the charities. They keep 100% of the ticket sales. I don’t mind footing the bill myself, as it ultimately helps the bigger shows in the fall, but I thought maybe some folks on the forum might feel like tossing in a buck or two to help the cause.
Most of April’s shows will be helping food pantries in New Hampshire. The more money we raise on this end, the more charity shows we can do, and more we can raise from ticket sales. If you feel like tossing in a buck or two, just follow the link below. Thanks. https://www.gofundme.com/moneygrab

Hey why don't you try to use magic to make money? If you are working towards a stage show you should get some gigs in your market like at a restaurant or private parties. Then you don't have to ask for handouts from others, plus by the time the fall comes here your fan base in your market is bigger and your stage show has a better chance of being financially successful.

Thanks for the input Joe. Charity shows are already booked, I'm just looking to defray my costs while raising money for the food bank. It's not about making money, but helping hungry kids. I took the Magicians Helping Magicians catch phrase literally; my bad.
