I'm trying to find a switch box that I can take several 18" silks from, shown empty, and then reproduce duplicate sinks from. It has to be operated with only one hand only and sit on the table when making the production.
I can get a box called a Changeo from England, but card seem to find it in the states. I would like to save on the overseas shipping charges. Does anyone know if I can find something to fit? |

Could you use a phantom or ghost tube? Just load the silks in the main chamber to first pull them out from, show empty, and then produce the next set from the load chamber?
Easy to find here in the US. Just an idea.

Thanks Jef. That would do it.
During the past 30 or more years, I really have done so little in the way of box magic, that I'm no longer familiar with what's available. |

I got this Phantom Tube last year, it is really heavy duty thick metal, and works well.

You could also perform that effect with one of Spellbinder's "Gift Bag Switch Bags" from The Wizards' Journal #31 (item 10). You make it yourself following his directions, but a big advantage (besides the low cost) is that when you are done, you can, if you wish, tear the bag up showing that it was just a regular paper bag with no secrets to hide (they think!).

Even though you have found what you are looking for, I will suggest a Merry Switch Can which you can purchase HERE for $26.

Thanks Brad. Since I'll be working with one hand, I'm not keen about using a cover on it. It may be a little awkward.
